ThirtyDay is operated by Backyard Technologies, Inc. ("we," "us," "our"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the ThirtyDay service.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide:

Phone number (required for SMS delivery)
First name (shared with your crew)
Challenge preferences
Messages you send through the Service

Information collected automatically:

Message timestamps and delivery status
Challenge participation data (check-ins, rest days)
Basic analytics (page visits, sign-up events)

3. How We Use Your Information

To deliver SMS messages for your challenge (check-ins, crew updates, host messages)
To match you with a crew
To personalize the AI host's facilitation
To improve the Service

4. What We Share

With your crew: Your first name only. Your phone number is never shared with other crew members — all messages are relayed through the ThirtyDay number.

With service providers: We use Telnyx (SMS delivery), Supabase (data storage), Stripe (payments), and PostHog (analytics). These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy policies.

We will not sell or share your mobile information with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes.

5. SMS-Specific Privacy

Your phone number is used solely to deliver ThirtyDay messages
Message content is stored to provide context for the AI host and improve your experience
Older messages are summarized and compressed — full message text is not retained indefinitely
You can opt out of all SMS at any time by replying STOP
We do not share your phone number with other users or third parties for marketing

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for the duration of your participation and for a reasonable period afterward to support re-enrollment and account recovery. You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting support@thirty.day.

7. Data Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections and secure data storage. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

8. Your Rights

You may:

Opt out of SMS by replying STOP at any time
Request a copy of your data
Request deletion of your data
Contact us with questions about your privacy

9. Children's Privacy

ThirtyDay is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 18, we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
